Monthly Love Horoscopes - March 2019
On face value, this is not an overly active month on either the romantic or relationship fronts, but on the relationship front, in particular, there is something exciting developing. What you have at play is some asteroid activity. The asteroids are subtle forces, all of them feminine in nature and unless they are amplified by more powerful planets, operate in the background. Throughout March you have the asteroid Juno in your communication sector and the asteroid Pallas Athena in your relationship sector. Yet what makes this auspicious is the timing. For years now, there has been an ongoing battle between your personal and relationship needs, driven by Uranus' return to Aries in 2010. Uranus leaves on 6th March, not to return for another eight decades. This will take the pressure of your relationships. Pallas Athena is the goddess of wisdom and in that battle to balance your personal and relationship needs, she is allowing you to see both sides of the fence. With Juno, queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships on communication duty and Mars returning to your communication sector on 31st March, things are looking increasingly good for your relationships. Keen to exploit this will be a Full Moon in your relationship sector on 21st March. On face value, there appears to be nothing different about this Full Moon, other than the fact that it literally falls in the first few hours of your birthday month and new solar year. What makes this Full Moon special is that it is a twin, with a second Full Moon falling here next month, with a chance to distribute the influence between the two. In addition, you have Venus, the planet of love in your friendship sector from 2nd March to 27th March. With the support of the asteroids, Venus creates a seriously good month for friendship and relationship building.
The love and relationship gods aren't putting a lot of focus on romantic or relationship matters this month, as is the norm for this time of year. With Jupiter in your relationship sector from October 2017 to November 2018, last year was an aberration, with continuous planetary activity throughout the year. This has left you with a clear sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you, that will define the journey ahead for years to come. Apart from the Moon's return to your relationship sector from 23rd March to 25th March, there is no activity on the relationship front this month. With no planetary activity in your romantic sector either, the Moon's visit from 19th March to 21st March is also important. However, coming full circle from last month's Full Moon, these romantically charged lunar vibes might have a surprise or two. Often, what is triggered on a Full Moon and is set in motion, comes to fruition or falls into place when the Moon comes full circle. So much so that often it is the Moon's first visit after a Full Moon that has the more significant impact. This makes 19th March to 21st March an important time to listen to your heart and to be open to romantic influences. What you do have is Venus, the planet of love in an adventurous part of your chart until 2nd March and Mars, the planet of passion in Taurus until 31st March. A mix of romance, passion and adventure at the start of the month is something that will be relatively easy to hold onto, especially in a month when neither the love nor relationship gods are pushing any kind of agenda. You also have the North Node in your communication sector all month and in fact all year, keeping the communication lines open on the relationship front.
There is good news on both the romantic and relationship fronts this month, both because of the activity on both fronts and the fact that nothing is being pushed or forced. An example of this is Jupiter and Ceres in your relationship sector. Now that the faster moving planets have moved through it has become more about the journey. These are the planets that will remain here until the final weeks of the year, supporting your relationships but with no interest in reinventing the wheel. Both will turn retrograde next month, so there is a lack of urgency. With lucky Jupiter at the wheel, your relationships are in good hands. There will be a chance to check in as the Moon makes its monthly visit to your relationship sector, from 25th March to 28th March. In the meantime, while there is no planetary activity on the romantic front, there is definitely something exciting developing. It begins on 2nd March when Venus, the planet of love returns to an adventurous part of your chart where she will remain, until 27th March. In a month that has a strong professional influence, Venus will keep the spirit of romance and adventure fuelled for all but the early and later days of the month. It is while Venus is here that the Moon will not only move through your romantic sector from 21st March to 23rd March but will create a Full Moon here in its early hours. What is auspicious about the romantically charged Full Moon on 21st March is that this is the first of two Full Moons, with a second Full Moon here on 19th April. It is rare two have twin Full Moons, though it will happen somewhere in your chart every three to four years, hence 'once in a Blue Moon'. However, the last time you had two Full Moons in a row in your romantic sector was in 1962, 57 years ago.
The month begins with Venus, the planet of love in her final hours in your relationship sector, bringing you to an important point in what is an important relationship year. Held back by a retrograde phase, Venus didn't return to your relationship sector until last month, after the Sun and Mercury had both been and gone. This gave Venus a chance to spend her entire time here on her own, with the planets that will take your relationships into the future. Venus returned in early February and spent most of last month getting to the heart of what you want from your relationships. With Saturn and Pluto in your relationship sector for the whole of 2019, they are the force that will take your relationships into the future, giving you the power to move mountains if you have to. Venus' job was to give you a sense of what you want from your relationships and whether single, in a relationship or between relationships, her departure on 2nd March is the point when the real journey begins. Fortunately, you also begin the month with the Moon here as well and not leaving until 3rd March this will amplify your heart's voice and ensure you are emotionally plugged in. Venus' departure on 2nd March and the Moon's on 3rd March will bring you to a point where the planets that are here for the rest of the year will take over. This is when the real journey begins. The focus will remain on your relationships, not just this month but for the rest of this year. As 18 months of planetary activity on the romantic front ended in late January, the Moon's visit to your romantic sector from 23rd March to 25th March will bring some much needed romantic influence into play. The will create March's most romantically charged weekend.
In a month when both romantic and relationship matters are well supported, the focus on each front is very different, but in an exciting way. It was early last month that Venus left your romantic sector, leaving Jupiter and Ceres on their own. With both here until the final weeks of 2019 and both slowing down ahead of retrograde turns next month, on the romantic front there is something stable, strong and enduring. There is zero urgency and with lucky Jupiter here, this lucky year for love is steady and stable. It is now all about the journey. The Moon's return from 25th March to 28th March will be a chance to check in, but not a lot will have changed since a visit late last month. These romantically charged lunar vibes will be a chance to confirm that, yes, you do have a strong support system, this is still your luckiest year for love in over a decade and the journey is in safe hands. This creates a lack of urgency but an abundance of confidence, giving matters of the heart and all things romantic a chance to play out at its own speed. This is always there to tap into when you need or want to. In what is likely to be a busy month, this will also help you maintain a balance between work and play. On the relationship front things are more active and urgent. For the first time since 2014, the Sun left your relationship sector last month with Venus yet to return. You've gone through all the relationship housekeeping that takes place in January and February each year, but the planet of love has yet to return to build on that. Venus finally returns on 2nd March and until leaving on 27th March will work to create some of the best weeks of the year on the relationship front. With no more planetary activity here until Venus herself returns in December, Venus will be working to make the 25 days she will spend here count.
You begin the month with Venus, the planet of love in your romantic sector and end the month with her in your relationship sector, yet she will spend little time in either this month. Venus will leave your romantic sector on 2nd March, with a visit that began in early February just wrapping up as you move into the new month. Venus will leave behind one of the most powerful line up of forces ever to congregate in your romantic sector, with her romantic desires and expectations in safe hands. Venus' job has been to leave you with a better sense of what you want from love, knowing that she will leave behind planets that have the power to move mountains if you have to. In the meantime, while Venus won't return to your relationship sector until 27th March, spending the final days of the month here, there is a lot of focus on your relationships before then. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of March in your relationship sector, but this year something is missing and this is making all the difference. That something is Chiron, the planet of healing, who until leaving last month has kept you linked to old wounds and ghosts since 2010. Chiron's departure has set you and your relationships free. Yet, ironically with Mercury, the planet of communication in retrograde motion here from 6th March to 29th March, the focus will still be on the past. However, this is in a very different way, with a chance to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice. Mercury is going back into the past to finally set you free. A New Moon on 7th March will be an opportunity to commit to your relationships, the future and the journey ahead, during Mercury's first full day in retrograde motion.
Despite the fact that March is likely to be a busy month, especially on the job front, this is also a stunning month for romantic and relationship matters. To start with the focus is on your relationships with Chiron, the planet of healing spending his first full month in your relationship sector and Uranus wrapping up a nearly nine year visit on 6th March. The Sun will always return to your relationship sector in March, but not until 21st March. This gives you time to focus on the bigger picture. Since his return in 2010, Uranus has been on a mission to create authentic and honest relationships, while steering your relationships in an authentic direction. If there are any battle scars from Uranus' time here then Chiron, the planet of healing is here to begin the healing process. From Uranus' departure on 6th March and the Sun's return to your relationship sector on 21st March, there is a chance to let things settle and this lull in focus on your relationships is something that Venus will seize on. Held back by a retrograde phase last year Venus, the planet of love won't return to your romantic sector until 2nd March. Apart from the Moon, who will move through from 3rd March to 5th March, Venus will spend here entire time here on her own. Venus' departure on 27th March will end all planetary activity on the romantic front until she herself returns in December and with the Sun in your relationship sector by then, she will be working to make her time here count. All planetary activity on the romantic front should have ended when the Sun left last month, with Venus bringing a bonus chapter and a chance to steal some focus away from your relationships. Venus knows that your relationships will get more than enough attention over the coming months, whereas matters of the heart won't.
There is something special happening on the communication, romantic and relationship fronts this month and comes from sources that are anything but a flash in the pan. The month begins with Venus, the planet of love in your communication sector and Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos in your relationship sector, giving your relationships a boost from the get go. Yet while Venus will leave on 2nd March, ending a mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice, standing behind her are planets that will continue to keep the communication lines open. At the same time, while Mars will leave your relationship sector on 31st March, long before the Sun's return in May, your relationships will also have some serious and enduring support by then. For on 6th March, just four days after Venus leaves your communication sector, Uranus will not only return to your relationship sector but begin a seven year visit. With powerful planetary activity on the communication front through to 2024, this is the start of a long and auspicious partnership between communication and relationship forces, the most powerful in our lifetime. Venus and Mars are simply the planets that are getting the ball rolling. In the meantime, while the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of March in your romantic sector, this comes as dreamy Neptune spends his first full month as the lead planet. With Chiron, the planet of healing gone you are no longer haunted by old ghosts. Yet ironically, with Mercury in retrograde motion here from 6th March to 29th March, the doors will open to the past and second chances. Venus' return on 27th March will see the month end under a romantically charged atmosphere. With Uranus in your relationship sector until 2026, Pluto in your communication sector until 2024 and Neptune in your romantic sector until 2026, this is anything but a flash in the pan.
The dynamics are changing on the romantic front this month, but in the process, they are set to settle and become more stable. Since 2010 you have had Uranus in your romantic sector, bringing the laws of synchronicity into play and also constantly stirring things up, in an effort to put things on an authentic path. Mars' return on New Year's Day got the year off to a romantically charged and passionate start, but his departure last month saw things begin to dial back. Yet the real game changer is Uranus' departure on 6th March. This will take a lot of energy out of romantic matters, especially when it comes to any urgency. With the dwarf planet Eris here since 1926 and not due to leave for another three decades, matters of the heart will not go off the boil. Especially as Chiron, the planet of healing is in the first full month of a journey through your romantic sector that will take until 2027 to run its course. Yet Uranus' departure will take away the urgency, allowing things to settle. This is a chance to catch your breath before the Sun returns to your romantic sector on 21st March, something that happens at this time every year. Yet it is when the solar spotlight shifts onto matters of the heart and all things romantic that the change in dynamics will become more obvious. For the first time since 2010 Uranus is gone and so too is the volatility of the past nine years. This will also reveal Chiron, the planet of healing's return and the healing process already underway. With Mercury and Venus not returning until next month, there is a lack of urgency on the romantic front, along with a growing sense of confidence and stability. The ground will stop shifting and changing once Uranus leaves on 6th March.
For the first time since 2014, while your birthday month ended in January Venus, the planet of love is still in Capricorn. Held back by a retrograde phase, your birthday month had come and gone before Venus even returned and the timing couldn't be better. Venus will usually move through Capricorn at the same time as the Sun, with her mission to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year tied up with all the other factors involved in getting a new solar year off the ground. The fact that Venus returned after your birthday month was over, meant she was able to get your full attention. And this year this matters and so much so, that her late return could be considered deliberate. For on the romantic and relationship fronts, this is anything but an ordinary year. For the first time in 17 years, Venus returned to Capricorn to find the North Node in your relationship sector, a lucky and positive force that will not only guide your relationships over the next 15 months but create a series of eclipses. It was nine days after Venus' return to Capricorn that Mars returned to your romantic sector. As the Sun doesn't return until April, this is not a time of year when there is much focus on matters of the heart. While Venus will leave Capricorn on 2nd March, Mars will stay on until 31st March and will be here when Uranus returns on 6th March. Here now until 2026, Uranus' return kicks of the most romantically charged years in eight decades. To begin with Mars fuelling your romantic passions and fighting spirit from the get go and with Venus, the planet of love having just left Capricorn, gets this new romantic chapter off to an exciting start. The last time Uranus and Mars were even in your romantic sector at the same time was in 1942 and this is just the start of an exciting seven year journey.
While the activity on the romantic and relationship fronts is not overt and in the case of your relationships for the majority of the month isn't even there, this should be a good month on both fronts. After a lunar eclipse in your relationship sector in January and with the Moon having come full circle from that last month, your relationships have received everything they need for now. Unlike the last two years, this takes the pressure off you and your relationships. With continuous planetary activity in your communication sector all month and in fact all year, as long as the communication lines are open your relationships are in safe hands. Without any planetary activity in your relationship sector, this means that Venus, the planet of love will have a trouble free visit to Aquarius. For the first time since 2014, your birthday month ended last month with Venus yet to return, allowing her to make a standalone visit, separate from the mundane task of getting your new solar year off the ground. Venus will return to Aquarius on 2nd March and leave on 27th March, with the planet of love spending the majority of the month here. And with this is likely to come some unexpected surprises. Venus' return to Aquarius each year is not only a chance to enjoy the full attention of the planet of love but to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year. Yet there is rarely planetary activity in either your romantic or relationship sectors at this time of year, so often you are guessing at what kind of support might be there, over the journey ahead. However, while only asteroids, Venus will return to Aquarius to find Juno in your romantic sector and Pallas Athena in an adventurous part of your chart. Not powerful enough to compete with the more dominant planets, Venus will give both a more powerful voice, creating an exciting mix of romance and adventure.
While there is no planetary activity in your romantic or relationship sectors this month, this is likely to be a good month on both fronts. A Full Moon in your relationship sector during the first full day of your birthday month and new solar year would have flushed out any issues, while revealing that something had shifted. You will always have a Full Moon in your relationship sector at some point during your birthday month and as this doesn't finish until 21st March, this was a chance to get this out in the open and over and done with. The Full Moon fell just two days after Chiron, the planet of healing left Pisces and as a result, there was nothing for old ghosts or wounds to hold onto. This Full Moon brought things to a head and then moved on. Even when the Moon comes full circle, moving through your relationship sector from 19th March to 21st March, it won't be able to find those old hooks. With Mercury, the planet of communication in retrograde motion in Pisces from 6th March to 29th March, any buttons this might push, come with a chance to give the past and unsaid words a voice. In the meantime, while there is no planetary activity in your romantic sector, with the North Node spending the whole year here and growing closer to an alignment with dreamy Neptune in Pisces, there is plenty of romantic confidence and support. All the planets moving through Pisces will form a friendly aspect to the North Node, the force behind a series of eclipses here, boosting your romantic confidence. This is something that Venus, the planet of love will hook into when she returns to Pisces on 27th March. Until then, Venus will spend the majority of the month in a nostalgic part of your chart, taking your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane from 2nd March to 27th March.
