Monthly Money Horoscopes - March 2019
With Mars in your income sector until 31st March, this was always going to be a potentially lucrative month, with a lot of focus on income matters. This is in stark contrast to the 18 months of near total focus on money matters as a whole, which only ended in late January. With the Sun not returning to your income sector until April each year, at the very least this has brought things forward. Having Mars in your income sector is a huge advantage, fuelling your fighting spirit, your willingness to fight for what you deserve and to push through glass ceilings. Yet gone by the end of the month this should be a temporary advantage, not the game changing month this actually is. Starting the month with Venus, the planet of money still in your career sector is an obvious advantage, but again not the game changer you are set to experience this month. The game changer is Uranus' return to your income sector on 6th March, to begin a seven year journey that won't run its course until 2026. This is the longest time any planet has spent in your income sector since Uranus himself was last here, from 1934 to 1942. Yet what you have now which wasn't available eight decades ago, is equally powerful and enduring forces on the career front. With Pluto in your career sector until 2024, Saturn until December 2020 and even lucky Jupiter returning to begin a 12 month visit this December, the biggest developments in a lifetime on both the income and career fronts are happening at the same time. Yet on both fronts, this is something that you have been leading up to since last year, with everything finally locking into place. Yet when you have planetary activity in play for years instead of months, there is a lack of urgency and more focus on the journey.
When you have planetary activity in your two money houses at the same time, there can be financial tension. With your income and financial sectors sitting on opposite sides of the sky, planetary activity in both at the same time can put them into opposition, creating financial tension, pressure and competition between the two. However, while there might be times when there is a slight rise in tension, there is no real competition between the two. It will be a different story next month when Mars, who returns to your income sector on 31st March, is more ready to confront money matters head on. For now, as Juno spends her first, last and only full month in your income sector, she is happy to stay in the background. Juno is only an asteroid and with Jupiter, the largest and most powerful planet in the solar system in your financial sector, she is no threat. For that reason, as Jupiter spends his last full month in direct motion and with money matters settled and stable, there should be no competition. On the financial front, it is now more about the journey, with a 13 month journey towards financial growth firmly established and with no reason to reinvent the wheel. What will elevate Juno's effectiveness on the income front, without creating a conflict with Jupiter on the financial front, is Venus' return to your career sector on 2nd March. As the planet of money, Venus allows you to skirt to pitfalls of having a lot of activity on the income front, while still enjoying all the benefits. Throughout her time in your career sector, from 2nd March to 27th March, Venus will fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction. You don't need powerful forces on the income front, with Venus able to exploit what is there and avoid creating financial tension in the process.
After a big push to get this financial year off the ground, things finally settle back in the early days of the month. You will always begin each year with the Sun in your financial sector, with a push to get any financial year off the ground and up to speed continuing until the last of the faster planets leaves. This year, the last planet to leave and much later than is normally the case is Venus, with the planet of money finally leaving on 2nd March. However, not before spending 25 days fuelling financial confidence and updating your financial desires and expectations. With Saturn, Pluto and the South Node here all year, this is the point where they take over and it becomes more about the journey. While all the planetary activity is on the financial front, with the North Node in your income sector and there is ongoing income potential. While the middle months of the year are the most lucrative, centring on a total solar eclipse in your income sector in early July, income matters get the kind of boost this month that comes with all of the benefits but none of the challenges. When there is planetary activity in your income and financial sectors at the same time, this will put the planets in opposition, with the potential for financial tension. While the lunar nodes are policing a balance between work and play, this is unlikely to be a problem this month. As forces on the financial front settle, you are enjoying a surge of activity on the career front. For the first time in 17 years, every planet returning to your income sector will find the North Node in your income sector, with a chance to steer career and professional matters in a lucrative direction. This also gives the income potential that has been building since last November a vehicle. This allows you to exploit income potential this month, without creating any conflict between income and money matters. It is not planetary activity on the income front driving things and instead planetary activity on the career front, which has no beef with financial forces.
This month delivers the best of both worlds on the income and financial fronts. Because there is no planetary activity in your income sector, Venus' visit to your financial sector from 2nd March to 27th March will be trouble free. Unlike the last two years, when income and money matters clashed repeatedly, there is no conflict this month. This might put all the focus on money matters and none on income matters, but there is still plenty of income potential. After a total lunar eclipse in your income sector in January, income matters have received the momentum they need. What will keep that momentum going, is the planetary activity on the job and career fronts, giving you the best in both worlds. This frees the money gods to focus on money matters, while the professional gods can keep the income momentum going, without the two conflicting. For the first time since 2014 the Sun left your financial sector last month, before Venus had even returned. This gives Venus a chance to move through independent of the Sun and the financial housekeeping that takes place during January and February each year. Venus' job is to fuel your financial confidence, updating your financial desires and expectations and to attract opportunities, not take care of financial housekeeping, which was the Sun's domain. The Moon will move through from 3rd March to 5th March, returning during Venus' first full day to fuel your financial confidence, instincts and imagination. The Moon will come full circle on 30th March, returning three days after Venus leaves, with a chance to tie up loose ends. This will bring all planetary activity on the financial front to an end until Venus herself returns in December and across both your money houses until Mercury returns to your income sector in late June and Mars just days later.
The focus will always be on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of March in your financial sector. This year is no different, though it is likely that this will feel different, with more confidence and optimism. For the first time since 2010, the Sun returned to your financial sector last month to find Chiron, the planet of healing gone. Chiron only left a day before the Sun returned, but this has taken away that constant need to revisit the past and its old financial ghosts and demons. For the first time since dreamy Neptune's return in 2012, he is the planet that will take money matters forward. The Sun is here until 21st March, but already the only roadblock he will face is behind him. At some point during the Sun's month long visit, the Moon will move into opposition, creating a Full Moon in your income sector. That Full Moon fell during the Sun's first full day in your financial sector and just two days after Chiron's departure, was a chance to flush out old issues. A New Moon on 7th March will be the first here in nearly nine years, where you are not held back by the past and there aren't ongoing lessons to learn. Instead, this will be more a chance to commit to Neptune's financial dreams. Ironically, Mercury will spend from 6th March to 29th March in retrograde motion in your financial sector. However, unlike Chiron's focus on healing, Mercury's retrograde phase is more a chance to retrograde is a chance to spend time back at the drawing board. Mercury has no interest in old wounds, with his smart head for money able to tie up loose ends. The Sun will take the solar spotlight off your financial situation and money matters on 21st March, but with Mercury staying on and Venus not returning until 27th March, things will continue to evolve.
There are big changes on the financial front this month, so much so that this will change the dynamics of not just this financial year, but your financial game full stop. Since Uranus' return to your financial sector in 2010, he has been the driving force on the financial front, on a mission to help you develop an authentic relationship with money, as well as working to put money matters on an authentic path. Uranus is the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected, but is also the 'great disrupter', always working to change things up and in the process, keeping money matters front and centre in your life. Uranus finally leaves on 6th March, not to return for another 77 years. Until the Sun returns on 21st March, when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your financial situation and money matters, there will be a chance to let things settle and for both the intensity and uncertainty to dial back. The Sun will return with an opportunity for a fresh start. With Venus and Mercury not returning until next month, there will be time then to get your heart and head in the game. This allows you to simply observe and get a sense of the new landscape in the Sun's early weeks. This month also hosts a special Full Moon in your income sector on 21st March, just hours after the Sun's return to your financial sector. There is nothing unusual about having a Full Moon in your income sector during the Sun's month long visit to your financial sector and in fact, this is always the case. The difference this time is that this is the first of two Full Moons here, with a second Full Moon on 19th April. Every three to four years we will have twin Full Moons, falling four weeks apart in the same area of your chart. However, the last time you have twin Full Moons in your income sector was in 1962. With Venus in your work sector from 2nd March to 27th March and Mars returning to your career sector on 31st March, the timing couldn't be better.
Having Mars in your financial sector all month was always going to make this an important month for money matters. This is Mars' first visit since 2017 and when he leaves on 31st March, he won't return until 2021. Mars' job is to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit, while inspiring you to fight to take your financial power back. With the Sun not returning to your financial sector until later next month, there should be a drop off after Mars leaves, but that won't happen, not this month or any month this year or for years to come. Having Mars in your financial sector is an advantage and while he is here for six weeks, this is still a temporary advantage, with the warrior planet of the cosmos simply passing through. It is a completely different story for Uranus, who returns to your financial sector on 6th March, to begin a seven year journey. Uranus is not passing through, he is here to stay and won't leave until 2026 and this is something that you have already had a taste of. Uranus returned last May to dip his toe in the water, only to retrograde back out November. This time, Uranus is here to stay. This is the first time that Mars and Uranus have been in your financial sector at the same time since 1942, with Mars giving you the means to take your financial power back, while Uranus works to reveal your financial truth. Over the next seven years, Uranus will work to create a more authentic and real relationship with money and even transform your financial perceptions, needs and priorities. However, this is a seven year journey and not something that has to happen overnight. The Moon's visit from 10th March to 13th March and alignment with both Mars and Uranus will bring a better understanding of these powerful financial forces.
The Moon moved through your income sector in the closing days of February, allowing you to begin the month with a nose for money, a lucrative sense of direction and also a new sense of confidence. For as the Moon moved through your income sector it was to find Ceres and Jupiter still here, as they were last month and with both now settled in for the long haul. This gives you a feeling of stability and confidence, something that will be reinforced when the Moon moves through again, from 25th March to 28th March. It is the fact that the Moon will reveal exactly what it did last month and the month before that will see that confidence build, layer upon layer. For the reality is, with Ceres in your income sector until November and lucky Jupiter until December, they are here for the long haul and the money gods aren't going to change the script. Having Jupiter on board is creating the potential for a lucrative year, with opportunities for income growth, but with both slowing down ahead of retrograde turns next month, any urgency is dropping back. There is also a sense that income potential is not only in the safe hands of the money gods, but the professional gods as well. Uranus' departure from your work sector on 6th March will end a seven year journey that has ultimately put work and job matters on the path they will continue on, but ends the changes and uncertainty. The same stability and confidence you have on the income front from the get go, you will gain on the job front over the course of the month. Especially once the Sun returns to your work sector on 21st March. For while income forces are locked into play, so too are forces on the job front. A quiet sense of confidence comes with the realisation that it now all about the journey.
For the first time since 2014, you move into March with Venus still in your income sector. Held back by a retrograde phase last year, Venus was late to arrive and therefore late to leave, but the timing couldn't be more perfect. Venus was here when Mars returned to your work sector last month, with a chance to align income and job matters. Venus will leave your income sector on 2nd March, four days before Uranus returns to your work sector on 6th March, to begin a seven year visit, but her influence will be there from the get go. Venus is the planet of money and her job is to leave you with your confidence fuelled, a clear sense of where the money is and knowing what you want. Venus leaves behind some of the most powerful forces ever to assemble on the income front, giving you the power to move mountains if you have to. With Saturn in your income sector until December 2020, Pluto until 2024 and Uranus returning to your work sector until 2026, this is the start of some of the most important years in a lifetime, across the income and job fronts. Fortunately, the month begins with the Moon in your income sector as well, making sure your nose for money is sharp during Venus' last full day. Venus will leave on 2nd March and the Moon on 3rd March, with the early days of the month the most defining days for gaining a clear and confident lucrative sense of direction. By the time the Moon comes full circle from 28th March to 30th March, the same forces that stayed behind at the start of the month are still there. With powerful new forces locked into place on the job front by then, this will be an important chance to regroup.
For the first time since 2014, when the Sun left your income sector last month, Venus had yet to even return and as you move into the new month the planet of money is still nowhere to be seen. This means there is no planetary activity in either of your two money houses at the start of the month, but also a sense that there is unfinished business. When the Sun moves through your income sector in January and February each year, he keeps the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options for a month, while Mercury moves through with the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game. It is Venus, the planet of money's job to take that information and use to both update your income desires and expectations and attraction opportunities. The time Venus spends in your income sector each year has the potential to be some of the most lucrative weeks of any year. No wonder then, that you begin the month feeling that you have missed your turn or that the money gods have forgotten about you. Instead, held back by a retrograde phase last year Venus is simply running late, with the best yet to come. Venus will finally return to your income sector on 2nd March, followed by the Moon just a day later. Venus is here until 27th March, so will spend all but the first and the final days of the month here. As well as lucrative implications, Venus is likely to galvanise subtle forces in play on the job and career fronts. As the Moon moves through your income sector from 3rd March to 5th March, as well as sharpening your nose for money, this could trigger exciting developments or just a sense of excitement across the income, work and career fronts. This has been worth waiting for.
The focus is always going to be on income matters at this time of year, due to the fact that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of March in your income sector. From the get go the solar spotlight is on your income situation, matters and options, exposing the fact that this year there have been some changes. This reveals the huge amount of professional momentum and untapped professional potential, along with the unexpected support and developments on the job front. This explains a boost in confidence across the income, work and career fronts from the get go. However, this also exposes different dynamics on the income front as well. When Venus returned to your income sector last month it was just a day after Chiron, the planet of healing left, not to return for another 44 years. This is the first time since 2010 that the Sun has returned to find Chiron gone and that has changed the who dynamics. As the planet of healing, Chiron is always looking back, learning from the past and healing old wounds. With Chiron gone, the past doesn't have a hold on you this year. Instead, there is a lot more focus on dreamy Neptune and his dreams for the future. Yet ironically, just as the past releases its hold on you, Mercury will spend from 6th March to 29th March in retrograde motion in your income sector. Mercury's retrograde phase is different, for it is not the past that has a hold on you and more that Mercury's smart head for money allows you to look back objectively, spending more time at the drawing board. A New Moon on 7th March brings the potential for new opportunities, just as Mercury is opening the doors to the past, second chances and untapped income potential. While the Sun will leave on 21st March, the most potentially lucrative weeks don't begin until Venus returns on 27th March.
While there are some major shifts on the income front this month, nothing will actually change other than the instability ending. Your income sector is an area of your chart that has literally been active your entire life, with Eris here since 1926. However, as a planet that mainly remains in the background, it is Uranus who has been the driving force since his return in 2010. Uranus is the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected, always working to keep income matters on track and to ensure you are viewing income matters through the right lens. Uranus can be seen as a navigation system, constantly checking that you are on track and if not, making the shifts to put you on track. This is why there have been unexpected shifts and constant changes. Uranus finally leaves on 6th March, not to return for another 77 years. Uranus' departure will end the constant shifts and changes, leaving things more stable and while it is now up to keep income matters on track, you are armed with a huge amount of information and insight. When you make changes yourself rather than having them made for you, you will feel more in control. This also gives you a chance to let things settle before the Sun returns to your income sector on 21st March. Returning 15 days after Uranus leaves, the Sun is able to draw on the information gained over the last nine years, but offer an opportunity for a fresh start. A Full Moon in your financial sector just hours after the Sun's return might create some financial tension, but this an opportunity for a reboot. This is the first of two Full Moon in your financial sector, with a second during the Sun's last full day in your income sector, next month. This takes away any urgency, allowing you to use this first Full Moon to simply pay attention.
