Monthly Money Horoscopes - July 2019
There is every reason for confidence on the income front this month, but don't expect too many radical shifts, with the money gods more focused on letting things settle. It was Venus' departure from your income sector last month that brought four busy months of activity to a close. During that time six planets arrived in your income sector but only five left and in the process, the whole dynamics of not only this financial year but your financial game full stop changed. While the planetary activity on the income front this year was more extreme than is normally the case, it still centred around what are normally the most active months of any year for planetary activity here. This usually creates an 'all or nothing' scramble, knowing you have just a few months and sometimes as little as five weeks, to exploit available income potential and to put things on a lucrative path moving forward. That urgency was missing this year and there is a chance that this period has been less lucrative than previous years or so it might appear. If that was your reality it was a case of less 'immediately' lucrative. For the planet that returned with the other five planets but didn't leave is Uranus, who returned in March to begin a seven year journey through your income sector. Here now until 2026 Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected is playing a long game. Part of that long game is a partnership formed with Saturn in your career sector when Uranus dipped his toes in the water for a few months last year. Uranus is settled in for the long haul and for long term but sustained income growth, rather than the 'smash and grab' approach of recent years. With a lunar eclipse in your career sector on 17th July and new doors opening on the job front next month, Uranus is happy to ride the waves of this professional year, on hand to steer things in a lucrative direction and capitalise on income potential as you go. This makes the Moon's visit to your income sector from 25th July to 27th July a valuable chance to check in.
While Venus, the planet of money will begin the month in your income sector she will leave on 4th July, bringing all planetary activity on the income front to a close. However, as the last of a parade of planets that have moved through over the last four months, Venus is the perfect planet to bring things to a close. With the laws of attraction in effect until she leaves, Venus will use her final days to fuel your confidence, attract opportunities and steer the second half of the year in a lucrative direction. As you begin the month with the Moon here until 2nd July, you have the added benefit of having a sharp nose for money and a lucrative sense of direction from the get go. Venus' departure might end all planetary focus on income matters for the year but after four months of planetary activity there is enough momentum and you have the resources to keep things on track. The Moon will return to your income sector from 27th July to 29th July and every four weeks after that, with a chance to check in, tap back into a lucrative sense of direction and check that you're on track. Even before Venus leaves this has taken the pressure off Ceres and Jupiter in your financial sector. It was a Full Moon in your financial sector last month and the Sun and Venus' opposition with both planets there that may have created some financial tension. Yet this has already dialled back before the month began and when Venus leaves this will be a chance to regroup financially. With Ceres turning direct in your financial sector on 18th July and lucky Jupiter next month, both are barely moving, giving you time to regroup and get your financial ducks in a row. With a parade of planetary activity on the income front ending, the dynamics of this financial year is shifting, firstly back onto money matters as a whole and then gradually from the past to the road ahead.
It is a given that the solar spotlight will be on income matters at this time of year, with the Sun always spending the first three weeks of July in your income sector. However, what is not a given is just how long things have already been active, with Mars having returned in May or the fact that this month will host a total solar eclipse in your income and lunar eclipse in your financial sector. Eclipses aren't random and to have eclipses in your two money houses within the space of two weeks means there has been a lot building on both fronts. Eclipses can bring things to a head and while the total solar eclipse in your income sector on 3rd July is the more exciting, the lunar eclipse on 17th July in your financial sector is just as important. The lunar nodes have been in your two money houses since last November, but it takes the Sun and Moon to trigger an eclipse and this is what the Sun's return to your income sector has done. Even in normal circumstances, as the lunar nodes are always in opposition this creates the potential for financial tension, they work to balance money coming in and money going out. Yet with Mars in your income and both Saturn and Pluto in your financial sector, this has been more extreme. Mars and Mercury both opposed Saturn and Pluto this month, so long before the eclipses, there has been tension between money coming in and money going out. Mars has been fighting since May to push through glass ceilings as he encouraged you to fight for what you deserve. In a year when the focus has been more about what you do with the money you have, Mars worked to change that and will continue to make this his mission until leaving your income sector on 2nd July, less than 24 hours before the total solar eclipse that creates the potential for a breakthrough. Yet it is while Venus is here, from 4th July to 28th July that you will find the most lucrative conditions.
They say that when it rains it pours and that is definitely the case for this year's income potential. There had been no planetary activity in either of your two money houses since Venus left your financial sector in March and none in your income sector since the last planet left in September 2018. Because the Sun will always return to your income sector in July but there is rarely any planetary activity there in the first half of each year, this is often when the income drought ends. It actually ended late last month though until now, in more of a dribs and drab way, rather than a sudden downpour. It began with the asteroid Juno's return to your income sector on 21st June, followed by Mercury's return six days later. This allows you to begin the month with your head in the game, a smart head for money and with a new sense of resolve. However, in terms of the downpour, that begins on 2nd July when Mars, warrior planet of the cosmos returns on a mission to smash his way through barriers and glass ceilings. Here until mid August, Mars' return kicks off what has the potential to be the most lucrative months of 2019. Mars returns ready to fight and push back, only to find there are few if any barriers. Unlike last year, when all planetary activity on the income front was met with opposition from forces wanting you to remain focused on what you do with the money you have, all the money gods are on this side of the fence. In addition, Mars returns to find lucky Jupiter in your work sector and with some familiar support from forces on the career front. Mercury will turn retrograde on 8th July and before retrograding back out on 19th July will give you access to the past, second chances and untapped income potential, at a time when the professional gods have the doors open to the past on the job and career fronts as well. The Sun's return to your income sector on 23rd July and Venus' on 28th July will see the income potential increase as the month progresses.
With the first planet to reach your income sector this year not returning until next month but then opening the doors to the most lucrative months of 2019, this month serves two important purposes. The first is a chance to spend one last month getting things settled on the financial front as a whole and the second is a chance to also get your professional ducks in a row. Since Venus left your financial sector in April, the only planet in either of your two money houses has been dreamy Neptune in your financial sector. Now in his first full month in retrograde motion and still surrounded by support, this month is a chance to settle into this review phase. By the time the first planet reaches your income sector next month Neptune will have been in retrograde motion for two months and in retrograde motion until November, will have taken a back seat. This will leave the way for the new income growth that will begin next month and continue through to October. This gives the money gods two main agendas this month. The first is to put the focus on Neptune's retrograde phase and getting that as settled as possible, especially when it comes to revisiting old financial dreams. The second focus is to stand right back and get out of the way of the professional gods, while they do their thing. With Uranus in his last full month in direct motion in your career sector and a lunar eclipse in your work sector on 17th July, there is a chance to let your sense of professional direction settle, while work and job matters continue to play out. With both Saturn and Pluto in retrograde motion in your work sector, the lunar eclipse has the potential to unleash unexpected opportunities on the job front, including access to the past, second chances and untapped job potential.
On both the income and financial fronts there is a settling down process underway, however not until one final push to expose any balance issues between money coming in and money going out. This is a time of year when there should be no planetary activity on the income front and technically that is the case. However, the asteroid Pallas Athena's return to your income sector in November has kept the goddess of wisdom in the game much longer than would normally be the case. Instead of moving through in two months, as is usually the case, Pallas stayed on. This means that Pallas was here during the twin Full Moons in your income sector, one in March and another in April and also as a parade of planets moved through your career sector. With Venus, the planet of money not leaving your career sector until 4th July, she will be working with Pallas to steer this professional year in a lucrative direction. What makes a normally inconsequential force a lot more important is the length of time here, thanks to a retrograde phase. Back in direct motion but not leaving until next month, Pallas will continue to steer things in a lucrative direction. At the same time, you have Eris and Chiron in your financial sector and keeping money matters on track both turning retrograde this month, Chiron on 9th July and Eris on 21st July. This is the start of what has been an annual financial review period that will continue out to December. For now these two forces, Pallas who is focused on money coming in and Eris and Chiron, focused on what you do with the money you have are staying in their own lane. They will eventually clash but not until next month. The Moon's visit to your income sector from 8th July to 10th July and to your financial sector from 22nd July to 25th July are valuable points of the month to check in.
This month you have the best of both worlds and a clever workaround by the money gods. When you have planetary activity in your financial and income sectors at the same time this puts the planets in opposition, creating the potential for financial tension. Yet what you have this month is a good month for both income and money matters, without the potential for any kind of clash or tension between money coming in and money going out. You can thank Venus, the planet of money for this clever workaround, that gives you the best of both worlds. Venus is able to create real income potential, without stepping on Uranus' toes. Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected is the only planet in either of your two money houses and it will stay that way. Here now until 2026 but slowing down ahead of a retrograde turn next month, after Venus left last month Uranus is focused on keeping the financial momentum going and more importantly on keeping this financial year on track. There has been a lot of planetary activity on the financial front this year, but this has dialled back and it is now more about staying on track, with seven years to create a more authentic relationship with money. So how does Venus pull off an income advantage under Uranus' nose and without ruffling any feathers? She does this by the impact she will have as she moves through your career sector from 4th July to 28th July. Venus returns a day after a total solar eclipse here and after Mars has just wrapped up a nearly seven month visit. There is a huge amount of professional momentum before Venus returns and with most of the hard work done, she will capitalise on the potential this has created. As the planet of money, Venus is able to fuel your professional confidence, attract opportunities and steer things in a lucrative direction, without disrupting Uranus and money matters.
As you move into July tensions between income and money matters are just easing back. A parade of planets through your financial sector over the last four months has seen each planet, in turn, put pressure on both Ceres and Jupiter, in retrograde motion in your income sector. It was last month's Full Moon on 17th June that represented the last real clash between income and money matters that created a challenge. It was a week earlier that the Sun and Jupiter had clashed, with income and money matters both able to each bring their top guns to the fight. It was a Full Moon a week later that was the last clash between money coming in and money going out that created a challenge. It wasn't the last clash, with Venus and Jupiter's opposition late last month the last opposition between forces on the income and financial fronts. This was a different category, for as the planets of money and luck clashed there was a chance to bring the two together. While Venus is the planet of money her main focus is on money coming in, yet in your financial sector, she is focused more on what you do with the money you have. This makes Venus the one planet who can see it from both sides of the fence and when she clashed with Jupiter late last month, there was a chance to use this as motivation on both fronts. Until she leaves your financial sector on 4th July, Venus is in the final days of fuelling your financial confidence and motivation when it comes to your financial situation and money matters as a whole, leaving you with some long range intentions, desires and expectations. For once Venus leaves this will end all planetary activity on the financial front, shifting the balance of power back onto money coming in and the timing couldn't be better. For you not only have Jupiter in his last full month in retrograde motion in your income sector and Ceres turning direct here on 18th July, but a surge in new opportunities and developments across the income, work and career fronts this month.
The solar spotlight will always be on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year, always has and always will, due to the fact that the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of July in your financial sector. And since Pluto's return to your income sector in 2008, this has resulted in a clash between the two. And as Venus and Mercury travel with the Sun, it is a given that there will be at least some pressure between money coming in and money going out at this time of year. The difference this year is that both sides have raised the bar. You begin the month with Mars in his final days in your financial sector and Mercury having left late last month. At the same time, as well as having Pluto in your income sector you have had Saturn there since December 2017 and you have had the lunar nodes in your two money houses since November. This has created a cauldron of forces bubbling away on the income and financial fronts, with Mars' opposition with both Saturn and Pluto last month, the trigger to bring things to a head. This may have created some financial tension and income and money matters will continue to clash, but this has already fired up your financial passions and fighting spirit. This month will host a total solar eclipse in your financial sector on 3rd July and a lunar eclipse in your income sector on 17th July, which will act as trigger points on both fronts. Yet while there will be more clashes between income and money matters this month, Mars' departure from your financial sector on 2nd July will take much of the heat out of this. Venus, the planet of money will move through your financial sector from 4th July to 28th July and she is the one planet that can not only restore peace between your two money houses, but capitalise on the potential this has exposed. Buckle up and expect some financial tension this month, but see this as a chance to take your financial power back.
There is a new sense of excitement on the financial front this month, with a chance to take your financial power back, with an extremely low cost versus gain ratio. You had the lunar nodes in your two money houses from May 2017 to November 2018 and in addition planetary activity in your income sector during most of the time that your financial sector was active. The North Node is an auspicious force that is focused on future financial growth and potential and more importantly, steering you towards that potential. Yet, apart from a lunar eclipse in January, there has been nothing to help you exploit that potential. That changed when Mercury and Juno returned to your financial sector late last month, to find no challenges or barriers, with everything that made last year's financial update gone. Instead, they returned to find all the financial potential the North Node spent 18 months planting, now ripe for harvest. This could be why Mercury, who will normally move through in 14 to 15 days, is reluctant to leave. Instead of moving on, Mercury will turn retrograde on 8th July and while he will retrograde back out on 19th July, he will return next month for a double dip visit. This gives you a lot of access to his smart head for money and even a chance to revisit the past, second chances and untapped financial potential. Mars' return on 2nd July is the real game changer, with the warrior planet of the cosmos returning to fuel your financial passions and fighting spirit. Mars' first visit in two years is a chance to take your financial power back. With the Sun returning on 23rd July and Venus, the planet of money on 28th July, as the month progresses you will gain more and more support. What makes this year different from other annual updates is a wealth of untapped financial potential there from the get go and lack of challenges.
On one level nothing changes on the income front this month, but on another level, everything changes. Neptune, the planet of dreams, sometimes illusion and sometimes delusion, is the only planet in either of your two money houses and that will remain the case until the first planet reaches your financial sector in 2019, next month. In his first full month in retrograde motion, Neptune will spend the month almost stationary and not turning direct again until November is stepping back. Since his return in 2012 Neptune has spent from June to November in retrograde motion, with a chance to retrace your steps. In that respect, nothing has changed. What has changed is what is happening around Neptune. Last month Neptune formed a positive aspect to Mars and Mercury at a critical time during their journey through your career sector. Both were under pressure from Saturn at the time and with professional pressure running high, support from Neptune was key to maintaining your professional confidence. The professional gods are returning the favour by ensuring that as the forward professional momentum continues, it comes with access to the past, second chances and untapped income potential. That support will not only continue but reach new heights this month with Venus, the planet of money in your career sector from 4th July to 18th July. A total solar eclipse there on 3rd July will create some major professional momentum. Yet the biggest game changer this year is less what is and more what isn't here. By the time Neptune returned to your income sector in 2012 Chiron, the planet of healing had been here for nearly two years and they both spent from June to November in retrograde motion. This meant that Neptune's pursuit of untapped income potential had to be balanced with Chiron's pursuit of old financial ghosts and demons. Chiron left in February, making this Neptune's first solo retrograde phase, with only the planet of dreams at the wheel.
There are four extremely happy planets this month, planets who have a lot in common. Those planets are Eris and Chiron in your income sector and Jupiter and Ceres in your career sector. All four are slowing down to a crawl and for all four, this comes as support will deepen throughout the month. On the career front, the pace is pulling right back ahead of Ceres direct turn in your career sector on 18th July and ahead of lucky Jupiter's direct turn next month. At the same time, Chiron and Eris are at a standstill all month, as Chiron prepares to turn retrograde in your income sector on 9th July and Eris on 21st July. The game changer is the increase in activity on the job front, which begins small but in the early days of the month will escalate dramatically. Mercury and Juno's return to your work sector late last month was a chance to get your head in the game and develop a sense of resolve, but it is Mars' return on 2nd July that will kick off the busiest and most opportune months on the job front in two years. With no barriers and a huge amount of untapped job potential, this will trigger an explosion of growth. Mars is here all month, with the Sun returning on 23rd July and Venus, the planet of money on 28th July. As each planet returns to and moves through your work sector they will form a friendly aspect to forces on the income and career fronts, often at the same time. As for new opportunities on the job front, they will benefit from income potential ripe for the picking from and from a lucrative sense of direction get go, as well as a clear sense of professional momentum. This creates a stunning month across the income, work and career fronts which will be driven by forces on the job front, but building on what has already been invested on the income and professional fronts.
